I don’t have the world’s most reliable memory. I buy the biggest bag of cat food, pour about half of it into the big cat food bin-thing, then wrap the rest of it up and put it in the freezer. Whenever the cat food bin-thing is empty, I wonder, “Huh. Is there more in the freezer?” Usually I have it right, but just in case I do forget to buy more (before it’s too late), now when I empty the last of the bag into the bin, I put a day’s worth in a little jar and put the jar in the freezer. It will buy me a little time so they don’t try to eat me in the night.
This may seem so simple to you, but I am patting myself on the back. Good job feeding your cats, Lauren. Way to set those personal goals high.
Brad says
Hehe…. That’s Lauren From The Past looking out for you. She’s a good egg.
Jill says
I said someone was a “good egg” yesterday, but I don’t think the person I said it to really understood. Might have been the fact that the person I called a “good egg” is actually egg shaped, so…
Awkward.
Peggy says
That’s a wonderful plan & I’m glad it works for you! You are a good cat mama.
If I tried that I would need a back-up jar for the back-up jar and so on and so on……
