The last day of the year was a nice, quiet one. Everyone around here had to go to Lincoln for one reason or another, so I stayed home and hung out in the quiet. I got some laundry processed, some chores done, and even took a nap. The Pesters hosted their annual fondue party, and we were home by 11:30. Perfect.
I’m not going to make any resolutions. At least, not out loud. When ever I make one, I give up immediately and feel a sense of shame. One thing that I’d like to do will be on Facebook, but I’m sure it’s only going to last one day. At work we have a ‘Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff’ calendar. Each day I read the day’s saying and have one of two reactions. Either, “That’s such great advice, Calendar!” or “Shut up, Calendar”. (It’s very convicting.)
So, we’ll see how that goes. If we are Facebook friends, feel free to remind me if I forget to post the page. Also, I’m sure I’m breaking some sort of copyright law, so don’t rat me out.

You are made of stronger stuff than I am. 😉
Brad says
So you’re planning on being on Facebook more often? A lot of people probably have the exact opposite New Years resolution.
Lauren says
Dang it, Brad. You’re ruining it.
