If you’ve never watched Bob Ross, click here so you know what I’m talking about.
So, the water in the bottles are a happy thing. I told the children that once
we have our basics down, I’d like to mix colors to get some interesting ones. I did a little demo with a palate and tempra paint to show them reddish-oranges and yellow-greens. They were duly amazed at my paint prowess, but then I told them that they needed to watch Bob Ross mix colors.
They were all on board. He was out before-nap show and I thought they’d get bored out of their minds, but they talked the whole time about how amazing he was. Lewis’ comment was the best: “That is bee-yoo-tee-ful.”

He’s somewhat like Mr. Rogers. Calm and amazing.

I just read a list of “interesting facts” about Bob Ross. It was fun. I think the one that I didn’t know already was that he never sold any of his paintings, nor was he paid to do his show. He made money off of the products with his name on them.
