This has been a busy weekend. We went to an auction on Saturday (more to follow on that another day). Lloyd drove there and back with Sam and I took the car. When I met back up with them, Lloyd and Sam were unloading the unwanted items from St John youth’s garage sale into a dumpster. They had already been helping for quite some time, and Lloyd had been gleaning treasures from the for-the-dumpter pile. I almost didn’t recognize him with the buffalo on his head.
I teased him mercilessly. We had some boxes to take into the new center, and after we were done….. I noticed his feet.
What the what?!? I laughed and laughed. He said, “Someone asked me what you’d say when you saw them. I told her, ‘That’s why I’m wearing the hat.'”
By the way, they are called Z-coil shoes and are very, very expensive shoes for people with foot pain. Crazy looking, but surprisingly bouncy. They retail for over $230 new!!

I thought something was wrong with Lloyd’s head in the banner picture. The hat looked like his hair.
CousinSam says
The fur, for hair replacement, is all his people used of the great American Bison. That is why they went extinct in mid-Missouri and everyone’s heads were always hot. Not Hot, like that, but temperature hot.
Lloyd says
They really put a spring in my step.
Deborah says
Were the shoes comfortable?
