We applied for a grant to provide chairs, tables, cots, a few bookcases and a dishwasher for the new CDC and it came through. Hooray!
I’ve tried making some lists about what needs to be purchased, both with the grant funds and also our own. The lists are, in scatterbrained Lauren fashion, in a notebook, a folder that I can’t find, and on the backs of some old bills. And maybe an envelope. Today I started to compile it all in the only way that made sense to me. When I was explaining it to Lloyd over the phone he said, “It sounds like you need a spreadsheet.”
“That,” I replied, “is what I have.”
Stuff, spread out over a sheet of paper. Right?
(It might be hard to make out: They are color-coded tables, shelves, chairs, etc. )

Congratulations! I’m so happy that all of your hard work paid off.
I like your spreadsheet. It’s so much prettier than a regular spreadsheet.

Congratulations on the grant!
You should teach a lesson on spreadsheets to a computer class. I bet they’d be amazed.
