Ladies and Gentlemen,
I was home at 7:30 tonight. I moved some laundry, ate dinner and at on this computer for a good long time. It was bliss.
I am nowhere near done at school. When people ask things along the line of, “Are you glad it’s all done?” I smile weakly and say, “Umm….” There is still so much to do. We are working through so, so many kinks and getting all the systems in place, only to tweak them again. There are hooks to hang, a washer & dryer to connect, phones to hook up, security door training, the unseen things in the rooms to outfit, sort through all the stuff that we just threw into the building last week, reports to write … oh, and I’m supposed to be teaching, too.
I am not complaining. It is all good work that needs to be done and we’re all glad to do it, but it sure does feel good to come home when there is some daylight. 🙂
Have a fabulous Friday, everyone!

Yay! Congratulations on having some time off! Don’t forget to burn some stuff every once in a while. I’m waiting for the temperatures to cool down here a little bit, and then I’m going to be out by the fire pit a lot.
Lauren says
Ah yes, the healing power of fire…..

I’m glad you’re in the building; that was a big chunk of the work. What a blessing it is and will be for years to come!
Remember, you can still invite, invite, and invite more people to help with manageable jobs.
P.S. I love how you had sticky notes posted on a wall near the front of the CDC so that people could pick and choose tasks to complete. Brilliant!
