I needed a catch-up day at work. My goal was to go in around nine and be all done by noon.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
It was longer than that, but I got almost everything on the list done. I work in a very ADD manner, so I made a list and tackled the biggest task in chunks: work on it for 10-15 minutes, then stop and do something else for a while. The problem is that the other things on the list are usually something in another part of that giant building.
The wonderful windows in the hallway look out onto the playground and across the street, and right into the backyards of the houses a street away. Did you know that walking from my classroom door to the reception area is the equivalent of walking in front of three houses? Did you know that I am very forgetful and walk that walk quite often? Did you know that some jobs require going to the basement, which also has very long hallway?
I walk a lot. This might be the most in-shape I’ve ever been.

Ha! I go up and down stairs at my school all the time. It’s the only exercise I get.
