I just watched t.v. after I got home.
With friends. I tried to align everyone north-south, but they insisted on south-north.
Happy Birthday, Sam.

I left my iPad at work yesterday and was too lazy to go back and get it. So…. see you tomorrow? (Tomorrow is Sam’s birthday, by the way.)

I need to get these photos off my iPad, guys. Enjoy a little history. 🙂
The first batch of photos is from the realtor website when their house was for sale. The rest are moving photos. I call this film, “Test: Title text here”.

Well, we made it through day one. It wasn’t as bad as it could have been – the air temperatures are right around 31/32, so it was rain that froze, then didn’t freeze, then froze again. I got up around my regular time to take a picture and get some stuff done.
Then I stopped being productive. Lloyd spent the whole day cleaning in the basement, but around 11:00 I stopped doing chores and started watching t.v. And bugging the cats.
Best day ever.

Well, the rain is icy and the CDC is closed. I spent a couple of hours making sure that our families knew not to come in. (We announced it on Facebook and through email.) Measures have been taken so tomorrow isn’t too difficult: we have towels covering the car so it can be de-iced if need be, and there is a bag of ice melt handy. I am looking forward to not going to work… for work. (I bet we wind up going.)
The banner picture is of Tim showing his yo-yo to Emme Saturday evening. She likes him, which is unusual for our little scary-girl. Maybe later today I’ll put up some relevant ice picture.

We are supposed to get some ice today and tomorrow. It’s enough that we are seriously considering closing the CDC on Monday, and we’re not so sure about how Tuesday is going to pan out, either. Of course, the weather could change and this could all blow over, too.
After Tuesday’s fall, I’m none too keen about wiping out on the ice again. Wal*Mart had some ‘traction aids’, and I bought some for both of us. Now, having read the reviews, I’m not so sure about putting my faith in them.
Stay warm and stay safe, everyone!
