First of all, Happy Father’s Day to our dads! I hope you both have very happy days!
Lloyd and I worked at the CDC in the morning, then went to Lincoln, then came back with the stuff we bought in Lincoln. One of those items was a new shelf for the janitor’s closet….er, which I have no evidence of….
I took some ‘before’ pictures, though. When we moved in we just shoved three shelves in there and called it good. Every time I’ve loaded the paper product delivery in there I grumble about how poorly laid out it is, but that is all. Last Friday I was lifting boxes of paper towels to the top shelf of a rickety plastic rack and thought, “This just isn’t safe.”
This picture’s going to be sideways, isn’t it. Grrrrr….
I hauled everything out to the hallway, took the old shelves out and put the new shelf in. I wanted to buy two shelves, but Sam’s Club only had one. It took a while to set it up, because we had to figure out how to arrange the boxes so we knew where the shelves should go. There was a lot of backtracking and a little cursing.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have an ‘after’ shot now? I know. Dagnabit.

Hehe. I have been missing a lot of photo opportunities lately. Just wait til we all have glasses that are constantly recording everything we see. Then we’ll always have pictures! (that’s not a creepy thought at all)

“Dragging” — that’s good. You dragged everything out of the closet and made the janitor’s closet a happier place.
