Once again, I forgot to take a picture before this process started. Just imagine a pantry full of carts. We love our cook dearly, and don’t want her to ever quit, so when she said that she sure could use a few more carts, I was excited. I love buying carts and shelves!
For months I have thought that the carts should live in the space under the shelves. Actually, when we designed the building, I thought the carts should live under one of the islands. Some dumb architect took it upon himself to install cabinets instead. Why am I not in charge of all the architects?
My carts arrived today and so I rearrangd one of the shelves and bolted it to the wall since it’s not as sturdy. That is a funny story. I was going to get my stud finder but then I remembered that I had photos of the walls when they were being built. The place I wanted to attach the shelf had three 2 x 4’s in one spot. I couldn’t miss the studs!
Anyway it’s better and more efficient, and I hope our cook likes it. There are enough carts now for each room to have their own.

Yay for efficiency! I believe that even small ways to make a process easier are worth the effort. If I only have to walk four steps instead of six, I’m going to get it done sooner.

Well done! AND I love adjustable shelves. They make life so much easier. Your cook is gonna love it!
