There were so many surprisingly wonderful, tiny things in Colorado this trip. A little ways up the mountain there was a tiny little vehicle – a Jeep Fleetvan. It only has one seat and the rest is cargo area. It would make a wonderful little delivery van for our school lunches…. except that it was in big disrepair. It was still cute, though.
I also saw my first tiny home up close and personal! Well, not the inside. It was locked up, but if you’ve got $39,000 I can have, I’ll give you a tour.
I took photos from the window.
See? It’s adorable! I should have jimmied the lock open. There’s a tiny bathroom in there but I just can’t see it!
The best tiny thing of all has a story. A while back, the shower control in my parents’ guest room needed fixing. My Dad took it apart but needed to cut a part that was in the wall. He couldn’t get it with the tools he had, and thought, “If I just had a tiny saw, I could get it….”
So he made a tiny saw.
Yep. That’s a bolt that he cut into so he could hand-rivet a jigsaw blade to it. He said it worked perfectly!
I love how he thinks. 🙂

I like the tiny, hidden storage compartments in campers and probably tiny houses. Those architects are so good about utilizing space, or at least leaving you space to put your own storage contraptions. Maybe you should build a tiny house. I’m confident that you and your dad could come up with the right tools for it, too. 🙂

I love that tiny vehicle. It looks so fun. I don’t know about the right-side steering wheel though. I’ve never driven anything that wasn’t left-sided.
