They’ve been doing a lot of work on the playground at school. (All that Marxhausen art has been put to good use.)
One of the things that needs to happen in the future is to make a new playhouse for the toddlers. The one they’ve been using is plastic and kind of shabby. I’d really like it if parents could help volunteer to build one from wood because that would provide a little more ownership for the process. We have a nice donation that could go towards some lumber, and so today I was thinking up some plans.
It has to be open so you can see the children inside, but I realize I’ve made it look like a jail.

Oh, I think its perfect. I can totally see it have multiple purposes, like games for kids and timeouts for any kids or adults causing trouble.

Maybe you could build the walls out of glass or something. But, er, glass that doesn’t break. Or when it does break, it breaks into small feathery pieces.
