My poor little toaster has a flat tire. Several people notice that it was low, but it was really, really low. I put some air in it, bu the next morning it was flat. Rats.
I got the jack from the Prius, but it turned out that the lug nut wrench was the wrong size. We took a trip to O’Reily’s Auto Parts to get a new one, and now I own one more thing that has a single use.
We took the tire into Lincoln to several tire places. They were either too busy or they coukdn’t work with a tire that small. Rats.
We went to a sport-vehicle place that has gators and such (the vehicles, not the critters) and they were unfazed – they had the time and the skill, but Lloyd pointed out that the sidewall had a crack. Dang. They couldn’t repair it, but if we wanted to order new tires they could replace them.
Dang. We’re going to go through a local repair place on Monday, and I’m sure they will be able to help. New tires, here I come!
(That’s why I couldn’t bid $3,000 on that thing.)

That sounded like a true Quest. What a fun Saturday!
