Finally eating the old, dry crumbs.

October 7, 2019

We have had a package of dehydrated camping food in the cupboard for over a year. Fortunately, this stuff is ready for the apocalypse, so Lloyd decided to have it for lunch.

Lloyd followed the directions to the letter.

Ok, technically he just opened the envelope. I measured and boiled the water. He remembered to take out the oxygen absorber. Yeah, what?

Boil boil boil. Pour pour pour.

Soak soak soak.

You have to seal it up first, but that’s not as good of a photo. After it has hydrated, eat up, bud.

Lloyd’s review: “The stew was adequate. I would eat it again if I was camping, or if it was some time after the zombie apocalypse or maybe the zombie calypso.”

We have eaten many of those over the years… camping and on hikes! Neat to see someone else do this! They’re way better after you’ve walked your legs off for miles and are starving. Ha

It looks ok for eating. Though I think I might like to have some crackers with it.
