It was a washing machine.

October 31, 2019

I broke a washing machine today, just by using it.

My friend is off for a week of vacation and I’ve been doing the daily laundry at work. Today, I went down to move stuff to the dryer and opened the lid to discover a tub of water and a hot smell. Dang it.

Someone will come to fix it later, but for now, I have a load of school stuff in my home dryer that I will probably forget to take to work in the morning.

Side note: Not as many trick-or-treaters this year. About sixty, if my candy math is correct.

Oh, man. Lauren, you need a vacation. What time does your weekend start?

Ugh. Not having a washer is awful! Maybe you could make washing clothes into some kind of game for the little kids. If they got good enough at it, you could start making some extra money for the CDC by doing peoples’ laundry. I’m a genius!
