So, there are so many mask patterns out on the internets, but – being me – I will not follow them. It’s a combination of thinking I can just do it better while simultaneously not having any skill. It’s a tough line to walk.
I made some really bad masks over the weekend, and then came across a no-sew pattern. Of course, I’ve tried to sew it anyway and made them unintentionally frilly. If you want the patterns, I’ll send them to you,
My reason for looking into fast masks is in case we try to have the children wear them when we reopen. I am pretty sure that we will go through one every ten minutes, per child.

You’re reopening?

Someday. Not in the near future, but it will happen sometime. Childcare is still allowed to happen in Nebraska, but with strict measures taken: No more than 10 in a classroom with the ability to keep 6 feet apart (you can see how crazy that is); absolutely no one who is sick; no mixing of age groups; etc. When we open, she’d like to have everything in place so that when someone does get sick, we can say, “We did everything we could”.
