Our sweet little town still had trick-or-treating, and lots of places had responsible set-ups going on, which was nice.
I had a plan to incorporate my Toaster for it’s swan song before I find a new home for it. I was mostly excited to have a set-up where I wouldn’t have to get up once during the whole evening. Then I saw some hilarious homemade chutes online and thought about how I could incorporate that. Fortunately, I had some downspout tubing from my water barrel-owning days, and some foam core….
It was awesome.

It was the best setup ever! I sat on my behind for three hours, read a book on my iPad, ate gobs of junk food and had a little heater going when it got cold. Parents and children complimented me the setup, which was very nice to hear.
I might need to keep that car……..

How fun! No trick-or-treaters here, but that isn’t any different from other years. My place is kind of tucked into the corner, so it’s not very high traffic. I did get some candy though, and now I can it it all myself! Muah-ha-haaaa!

That. Is. Awesome! Well worth keeping The Toaster just for Halloween.
I had lots of trick-or-treaters. Probably more than other years. It was good to see them having fun.

Whew! You have stairs to deal with, too! You are a good soul. 🙂
Brad, enjoy your candy!

Lauren, you are so cool! I love the little toaster that shoots out candy. Yes, you might need to keep it.
