Grief

I’m going to wait on the silly cat post. Thursday was a tough day. My students are not behaving as I would have hoped after our ten (or more) months together, and I’ve recently found out that my well-behaved ones are leaving for the summer and my rough ones are going to be joined by younger rough ones.

My dear friend that I’ve worked side-by-side with for 26 years is retiring at the end of the month. I don’t deal well with that thought.

My mom had a very hard day yesterday, and she and my dad and sister are dealing with some feelings.

Ugh. So many feelings. Let’s just get through today, shall we?

So sorry you have so many sads. I am praying for your mom (and all of you).

I’m praying for all y’all too. Work stuff is hard enough without concerns about family members. I am praying that things lighten up for you.

Are the kids rowdier this year, or am I tireder? Something, something covid?
