iLloyd’s first iPhone app.

Gadget, Lloyd, School

Ha! Lauren’s not the only one around here who can make crap prototype. We have 6 different schedules that get used fairly frequently (3 for middle school and 3 for high school). And a few others that we like to throw in every-so-often just to mess with the kids. It takes me at least until Christmas to have a clue about when classes start and end.

Sure, I could have solved this problem with a trip to the photocopier and a few thumb-tacks, but Steve Jobs wouldn’t approve of that. I give you iLloyd’s first iPhone app

Amazing! Words and everything.Wow! It even has a menu.

It picks the schedule based on the day and you can set it to default to either the Middle School or High School schedule. It will work in browsers and lesser phones, so I guess parents and other teachers might also find it useful. It also makes toast. Take that Sambo.

Geek Info: Uses iUI library for the iPhone bits and some Python to set the correct schedule and cookies (yummy, yummy cookies).

If I were stranded on a desert island because I went on a three hour tour, I wouldn’t mind having you there. I’d give you a nickname like “Professor” or something. You could make a helicopter out of coconuts. Or you could just call for help on your phone.

There are so many ‘its’ here -- which one? The app? Having so many crazy schedules? Lloyd? Sam? Their ‘sense of humor’? No one blames you, Brady.
