Lauren said that I have to write a post, so I’m going to write something that lets me include a picture of her.
There doesn’t seem to be any general consensus about which state is the windiest, but of the states that are frequently listed in the top 10, Nebraska is the smallest. So I’m going to say that, square mile for square mile, Nebraska is the windiest state.
The windiest place in the state of Nebraska is the parking lot of the Seward Wal*Marts. Any season of the year, any time of the day, it is 37% windier than the surrounding area. And, since we have already established that Nebraska, square mile for square mile is the windiest state in the nations, the Seward Wal*Marts is, ergo, the windiest place in the U.S.A.
Ah, sweet boy, this subject has already been addressed: http://laurenandlloyd.com/2013/11/03/windy-sleepy-productive-sunday/
However, you are right. WalMart is the windiest place on earth, and we really should be marketing that for tourism purposes.
I like how you do statistics. I bet you could get a job working for some government agency to justify their budget.
And be careful….the government might start taxing you on the amount of wind you have.
Here, here!
I saw that movie, Ergo, with Ben Afflick. I wasn’t that impressed.
