Painfully slow

December 5, 2006 by Lauren 3 Comments

I can’t believe how long this dumb bathroom project is taking.   Everyday I come home and think, “Eh.”  It’s a miracle if I get one thing done – like take the tools out of the room.  Anyway, over the course of a couple of weeks, the mirror is back up, a curved shower curtain rod is up, and the curtain is up.  Yippee.

Before

After, but not all the way after

Haha! Your words sounded so familiar! I went looking to see if I wrote them too. The closest I could come to that sentiment was this post.

It’s looking really good! The paint color looks much better in the second picture than it does in the first. Beth said the first picture doesn’t do the color justice. I’m anxious to see it.

Maybe you should “phone a friend” for some help??!! I understand you know someone, let’s see, I think you have referred to her as a “machine” when it comes to decorating bathrooms. Yes, Yes, this steely, metal, well greased figure is popping gaskets just waiting for the next project!

Thanks for the compliment, Annette…but this pregnancy renders me virtually incapicitated after 5pm…but feel free to let Lauren off early someday and I’ll be glad to help! 😉
