As this sieve of Eratosthenes shows, given my expected life span of 74.7 years, I am now, clearly, past my prime. I am currently prime (37) and have had 11 good, prime years of life previous to this one. In order to have 11 more prime years I will need to live to be 83 years old. As any hip actuary could tell you, that is statisticalishously unlikely.

“statisticalishously” 🙂
It sounds like a new math-themed cereal… “Try Quadratic Equation Crunch cereal – it’s magically statisticalishous!”
Wow… that second link is full of all kinds of happy information. I think I’ll go huddle in a corner now…
So, is your cup half empty, or half full?
Neither, My cup is exactly twice as large as it needs to be. (I’ve wanted to say that for some time now. Thanks.)
