They’re done, with only days to spare. Way to go, Lloyd! I have no picture of it actually taking place, but Lloyd said, “Just use any ol’ picture of me sitting at the computer.” Ok, how ’bout a montage?
That’s all.  Safe travels to Amsterdam, Brad. Don’t die, and don’t have any fun, either.

Dang it! I have to finish my taxes before I leave today. Actually, I’m mostly done. I just have to do the tedious part where I print out the papers and get them organized and write a check and mail it.
This certainly won’t be any fun, Lauren.
We use the TurboTax online edition, because it remembers everything we did last year and so it is pretty easy now. It’s getting more expensive though. I’m thinking of just doing it myself next year. Things shouldn’t chance much, right? There is some comfort in just answering the TurboTax questions instead of trying to figure out what the instructions on the tax forms really mean.
I don’t know that it will do me any good, but I sleep better at night knowing that I can tell the nice IRS guy that “You’re right, I don’t know what I’m doing. I just answered the questions.”
Yay! I just finished. I use TurboTax too. But I don’t e-file.
I’m always comforted by the statement at the end that says “I’ve filled this out to the best of my knowledge”. Perhaps that will still be comforting when I’m in jail
I too use Turbo Tax & hope it’s right each year. Actually, it could be fun to all be jailbirds in the same joint. Could we bring games?
Certainly – nice long games like Settlers of Catan!
I don’t think Twister would be allowed though.
I do ours with TurboTax, too. But I don’t efile. I won’t efile until it’s free. I figure the 39 cent stamp and the money they use (which is undoubtedly my tax dollars) to pay the poor soul who has to actually read and enter all my info my hand is still cheaper than the $15 I would have to pay to efile.
Will they have HGTV in jail?
