This isn’t really high-tech or anything; real high-tech classrooms have all this stuff built in. I, on the other hand, had to cobble stuff together from various and sundry parts of school to create the Cyber Classroom 3000 (hence forth the CC3k). With the CC3k I don’t have to stand up and walk back and forth across the front of the classroom, pretending to put useful information on the board for seventh graders. I can do it all from the comfort of a soft cushiony chair.
As an added bonus, the data visualizer ($3000 retail, $250 on ebay) has a 20x zoom on it, so I can have student stand in the front of the room and run them through with a pencil that is magically the size of a lance.
