Dreaming of winter

August 14, 2007 by Lauren 2 Comments

I can’t wait for cold weather. I’m hot and sticky – and that’s in the air conditioning! I know I’ll complain about the cold when it comes, but for now I can dream about turning down the thermostat, being chilly, and saving money on heating bills. (Remember those days?)

I bought some new gadgets to battle the bills. I ordered two mattress warming pads that just go on the foot of the bed under the bottom sheet. They just warm your feet! I’ll never get out of bed! I bought one for our bed and one for Brad’s. (It was so sad when he visited at Christmas and had cold feet. Poor Brad.) These are from www.cozywinters.com. I’d try them out tonight, but even I know that would be crazy.

Where’s that freak blizzard when you need it?

Woo hoo, someone else who longs for winter! I’ve been saying this for days … actually I’ll be delighted with some nice, cool, crisp days of Fall! But you can keep your mattress warmer. I always stick my feet out of the covers, year round! Ahhhhhh, cold feet!

I agree with Peggy, I could go for a nice fall day, but you can keep all the winter weather! That was the main reason I moved to Texas!!!
