So needy

January 17, 2008 by Lauren 9 Comments

My old grumpy cat is becoming quite needy in her old age. It’s no longer enough to just sit on my lap while I’m typing. *sigh*

The one on the right is Cricket

It’s Thursday night, 8:12, and I’m listening to my leaky kitchen faucet and waiting for the laundry to dry so I can hang it up.  30 Rock wasn’t on tonight, so there’s no reason to stay awake anymore.   Good night, cruel world.

Our friend said last night that he thinks that cats think we’re just part of their entourage.

I think Cricket’s just helping you get ready for Talk Like A Pirate Day.

You know the history, “In the ancient world cats were revered as gods … and they have never forgotten.”

Anyway, I think it would be cool to have a cat sit on my shoulder!

I like the soft glow of the computer screen in both of your eyes. I can almost read what’s on the screen.

Laurenburg’s broken the top 1000 spot. Didn’t we start somewhere around 3000? Brad’s house and my house are still around, but there’s no road out to Peggy’s Pond yet.

(not to sound dumb, but what does it mean that the city has “broken the top 1000 spot”. It’s one of the top 1000 cities in this world?)

Well, it doesn’t mean a whole lot of anything. Laurenburg is the 1000 (or something) populous city in this virtual U.S.A. There are other countries too.

I’m mostly interested in seeing how the city changes as we add more people, so thanks for clicking along.
