This post was could have been about how crazy dirty this area was before I took the picture (spaghetti sauce splatters, grease splatters, pepper specks, etc.), but it’s about the pans. The sweet, sweet little pans. I bought them a couple of months ago after many months of looking at them in the store and saying, “You do not need those.” I caved – but they’re awesome! The little one is perfect for scrambling one egg, and the big one is great for …. well, there was really no reason to buy the ‘big’ one other than the fact that I’m weak.
They are the first non-stick pans I’ve every owned, and I gotta say – I’m a fan.
Mmm… fried quarters…
I like quarters and Spam. They make a great snack anytime!
Yeah, I’ve decided that I have to have some non-stick around. And I know that after a couple of years, the teflon wears off (goes into my food??!?) and I have to get a new one.
I have one the size of the larger one that has a tight-fitting lid. It was a Calphalon I got on sale in a fit of weakness. We’ve had it about 10 years, and it’s still going. We’ve decided that we must replace it with something similar when it finally dies. It’s our basting pan, you see, and we need it!
Nifty, but don’t let Lloyd’s mom see them – she has a real thing against teflon.
So. Cute.
I. Covet. Your. Pans.
You can never, ever have enough cute kitchen stuff!
I have an Egghead mini pan that is for 1 fried egg … I’m guessing it’s about 2 1/2 wide.
So what’s that thing on your counter that looks like a piece of plumbing pipe?
That’s Lauren’s Salt Pig. Full of kosher salt. Very cool.
What?!?! A salt pig?!? I’m a salt pig … how do I get one of those?
You have to tell Lloyd you like them and then wait for your birthday. 🙂
Lloyd — I LOVE that salt pig!!!!!!!!!!!!
