We have company coming to the Center next week in the form of 40 or so visitors for a conference. We’ve had plenty to do, and one of the things I took on is getting rid of the heinous pink paint job in the girls’ bathroom. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture while it still had the pink and green heart border. (That was the worst part.)
It looks better now, and though it’s not the best work I’ve ever done…. well, let’s face it. I don’t think I’ve ever done my best work. Hasty Regret, that’s my nickname. (It looks fine in the photo. Up close, you can tell it’s like one of those ‘flip-this-house’ jobs.
Now, on to the next thing….(then I think I’m done painting for the next year or so.)
Did you use toothpaste and peanut butter to spackle the holes in the wall?
No, silly – chewing gum!
I think you installed one of your windows upside down.
Hush! No one’s supposed to notice that!
Wow!! That looks great! 🙂 Good job, Lauren! Do you want to come out and help us with Anna’s big girl room?
Not your best work? I’d be proud to call that my best work … it looks great!!!
I especially like just the one roll of paper towels in the 2nd shot, definately go with 1 or 3 rolls of paper towels & 3 or 4 rolls of toilet paper for a super fierce look!
The pink trashcan needs to go…or a coat of paint and border around the top.
Dang. I didn’t notice that little detail.
