Welcome back

August 8, 2008

Sorry about all the trouble yesterday.  Something at the WordPress kingdom was wonky, but it’s all better now.

Today is a workday at work, meaning that the work of actually being with the children is suspended; while the work of getting ready for a new crew of children is full-on go-time.   That means I need to be awake for the work.  I’ve been trying  to regulate my caffeine intake somewhat so that various parts of my body can calm down, so I’ve been trying to switch out green tea for coffee.  It doesn’t taste too bad, and I feel so eco-freaky and hippy when I drink it.  However, I don’t think that I’m drinking less caffeine, since I drink about four giant cups of it a day. Oh well – baby steps.

The cup of greenness

If I had written this last night instead of at 5:40 this morning, I’m sure it would have been funnier.  Thanks, WordPress.

You should just try injecting adrenaline. It’s all-natural and probably won’t have any side-effects*.

You should have titled this “Lauren: au naturale” Do you get headaches when you are missing caffeine?

    • Lauren Said on:

Headaches, surliness, random acts of violence -- the whole nine yards. With caffeine I get rib pain, shaky hands and unrecognizable handwriting.

I would die without my caffeine!

You take going green so literally …

So is the clothes pin to hold your nose while you drink it?
