Vote!

November 20, 2008 by Lauren 13 Comments

It’s after 9 p.m., it’s been a long day for both of us, and I’m waiting for a load of laundry to finish.  Not having any good material to post, I leave you with this picture of the top of the stairs.  Vote for the weirdest thing in this picture.

If you picked the trees, you’re right. Towels are second.

P.S. I typed this all one-handed because I’m holding a bunch of hangers and am too lazy to just put them down. I can tpye surprisingly well. Rats.

I think it’s that the door at the top of the stairs doesn’t go all the way to the floor. That’s one heck of a threshold to step over.

And a doozy of a drop on the other side.

I don’t think anything is weird. But I also don’t see a door.

Towels? Is that what’s covering the stairs? We usually call that carpet.

I think you should put a stair rail on the left side. That might prevent Lloyd from falling and breaking a rib next time.

I think I’d like to take care of that problem at the source. Don’t let me go to Brent’s house anymore.

Are the towels covering the windows – I mean door?

Yes! Towels on the windows! It’s a new experiment to see how they compare against last year’s womforter. I had a down one across these windows last year.

I’d like to see a red headed wood pecker hacking away at the tree trunk on the right side. Or maybe a squirrel chittering away at the cats below. 🙂

I don’t see a door or a window, and I have been to your house. A window blind, maybe. The weirdest thing is probably the “drapes” – they don’t match, do they? An what is their purpose?

Now that I see them closer, I remember. They are the trees, and the leaves! I won! Yay!
