Happy Valentine’s Day

February 13, 2009 by Lauren 9 Comments

Yep.

I tore that heart out.

Beth, Tara and Tim came over for a very nice visit, and then I sat in this chair and finally watched ‘Prince Caspian’ via iTunes. (I wasn’t too impressed. Way too much fighting for my tastes.) Anyway, Happy Valentine’s Day! Anyone up for a valentine poem? Here’s mine:

Violets are blue,
Roses make ouch,
I’ll spend Valentine’s Day
asleep on my couch.

You’ve pulled a puffy chair up to your computer? Genius!

Being lazy, I went googling for a Valentine limerick. Apparently, there are many people who don’t know what a limerick is.

Instead, I’ll post a link to a bunch of six-word Valentine sentiments:

You’re probably done serving by now, so I’ll try to do some origami with my waffles and bacon.

    Chocolate is brown,
    Hearts are red,
If you won’t be my Valentine,
I’ll ask that other guy instead.
