Well, my buddies at the CIA finally got back to me, and I’m happy to report their summary of the great tag-off of 2009. We tagged a total of 450 different posts with 607 tags.
The Most Tagged Post award goes to Lovin the Mac with a total of 5 tags (cdc, Gadget, ipod, macintosh and preschool). There were 6 other posts tied with 4 tags each.
The Most Used Tag award goes to Cooking, but that really shouldn’t count, because it was converted from a category.
The Most Interesting Tag award goes to ninja with honorable mentions to architecture, beard, bee, brats, eek, hottie, paranoid, rectal, romance and TMI.
Finally, the Most Prolific Tagger award goes to Kristi with 385 tags on a total of 338 different posts. Kristi, I’ll soon be carefully selecting the thing(s) that Lauren won’t notice are missing for a couple of weeks. If there’s anything you’re interested in, let me know.

I was sure I did more than one. In my defense, the internet connection at school has been grindingly slow. Something is seriously wrong. The guy says the slowness is due to traffic. I know it’s not, but I don’t know enough to identify the real problem. Our network is going to crash.
Also in my defense, I kept getting the same post when I clicked the generator. It was 16 November 2006. I didn’t know how to tag it. Now that I look at the spinny words, I see “nothing” would have been a good tag. Dang.
Some of those Baltimore Lutheran ones are yours too. I just didn’t know how to divide them up, so I didn’t.
Your slow network is probably the neighbors using your wireless connection ;^)
I am certain that I did more than 5. Like, 381 more.
Where’s my coffee cup? Kristi?
I didn’t tag any. And in my defense, I was at Brad’s school, and the internet connection was so slow it drove me to homocidal anger. It’s a good thing I wasn’t close to any unsuspecting 6th graders, or there may have been grave consequences. 😉
Did you sneak in to watch Brad teach? With a stern look and a clipboard that you kept scribbling on while shaking your head and muttering, “This is no good. No good at all.” I so want to do that!
In Baltimore Lutheran’s defense, they are probably using RFC1149 – Standard for the transmission of IP datagrams on avia. This method of internet connectivity is somewhat slower than other methods, but does offer certain advantages in metropolitan areas.
Ha! I actually read it. I probably only understood half of it though.
That was a COMPLETELY wasted day. I am a personal testimony to your logo.
As for my “prize,” do you think Lauren would miss her baker’s edge pan and spatula? I really want one of those. I’d even waste another day, tagging more entries. [Wait – did I really say that? This is sooooo addicting! HELP!]
I think that can be arranged. She hasn’t made brownies in months.
Can you send it with a pan of brownies in it? That would be great, thanks.
How about a Chicobag, too?
I’m hoping to unload a lot of this worthless crap.
Hey, I did at least 15. Why aren’t I listed?
I wondered who was adding “peggy” to random posts. You probably did yours from school. I didn’t have any way to tell who was who, so I just lumped them all together. You can have 15 of those, and we’ll give the other 5 to Brad.
…’hottie’ was mine…that’s an honorable mention right?
From now on you shall be The Honorable Peggy!
Ooohhh, Lloyd and Lauren! My “reward” package arrived. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I made the most delicious pan of brownies ever! And they’re already gone. Mmmmm, I would tag for you again anytime!
Don’t tell Lauren what was in it.
