Well, Lloyd completed his transformation this morning with an early morning visit to Bob the Barber. The middle schoolers had completed their survey,
and they chose a crew-cut and the Wolverine beard. They raised a thousand bucks for Haiti with this face, and I hope it was worth every penny.
He looks like an old-timey president, doesn’t he?
Even more so here:
Ha! It’s awesome! I don’t think I’d recognize you if we just passed each other on the street, Lloyd.
I think you should do the full-Martin. He has a great hair and beard combination. You have too much hair on top though. Maybe I should do the full-Martin…
I see your Christmas tree. Hehe…
I feel justified leaving it up until February because it only has red ornaments on it. Plus, it’s a handy nightlight when I come downstairs in the morning.
Let’s just call it the Winter Tree.
For how long will he be privileged to wear this?
Hopefully the beard will also have a crew cut by the time I get back from my meeting today.
The length of time was not stipulated in my contract.
I really wanted more of an Ivan Drago haircut. But I guess either I didn’t communicate that well to Bob, or he chose to ignore me.
Or, perhaps, Lauren got to Bob before you did to nix that completely.
😀
HA! That is awesome! And great pictures! One of these should be blown up to VIP size and be hung in the halls of LL!!
Mr. Sommerer wants YOU in computer class!
As fast as Lloyd’s hair grows, it should be back to normal by Monday, right?
I read the rules for voting. Does this mean that you will be wearing this style to church?
Lauren said that she would not go to church with me if I had mutton chops. But the flat top looks surprisingly normal if I don’t flatten it (and if you look at it from just the right angle).
Picture # 1 reminded us of cousin Sam. Haiti won but I miss the beard. Yes you need a picture to remember.
