Sunday Sundae

February 18, 2012 by Lauren 4 Comments

I scream, you scream, we all…. ok, I’ll stop.

Last Friday my student teacher helped the preschoolers make Freezer Bag Ice Cream – the stuff where you combine milk, sugar and a flavoring in a zip-loc bag, then put that bag in a bigger bag with ice and sugar and shake away. The kids loved it, and I was a little sad I didn’t make some myself.

So, what are you favorite ice cream combinations? Myself, I like a mini Heath Blizzard, or good vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of chocolate syrup, or a scoop of rainbow sherbet.

Mmmmmmmm……. now I want ice cream……

That’s weird. Your answers for “favorite ice cream” are exactly the same as the ones I would give. Except I don’t ever drizzle chocolate syrup on anything – I dump it.

Mint chocolate chip blizzard is a winner every time, as well as strawberry cheesecake.

What a fun school activity!! I want to join your class!

My favorite ice cream is either chocolate (which I’ll eat plain) or chocolate soft serve. If I have vanilla, it must be covered with either chocolate syrup or hot fudge. And I like rainbow sherbert too. But I must get that at Target because their rainbow has lemon, lime & orange. Most places have raspberry…but I prefer the lemon. I like chocolate eclairs & ice cream sandwiches too.
(If you ask me a food question, you will never get a short easy answer)
