Last weekend I was in Lincoln and I went to Kohl’s, where I ran into Deborah. She was shoe shopping with Macy and Bethany, so we all went to the shoe department. I was just browsing, but there were some Ked’s shoes that caught my eye.
I currently have *gulp* four pairs of tennis shoes. One ancient Converse-style knockoffs from Target that I wear to mow the lawn, a pair of knockoff exershoes (you know – with the curved bottom) that I have worn exactly once, a pair (bought in desperation before Lloyd’s fifteen year high school reunion) that has the sole coming off, and an unclaimed pair from the Lincoln Lutheran lost-and-found (during the summer, when school was out, so I wasnt’ stealing anything. Quit looking at me like that.)
So, let’s add one more pair to the mix. I like the style, but that plaid is just so….. preppy. So uppity. I can’t decide how I feel.
Have you ever read a more boring post in your life? Seriously, we just spent a few minutes together discussing my shoes. Let’s both go do something else.

Those shoes are cute!!!
These was a 15 year class reunion? Did I know that and skip it? Or did you just let a dirty dark secret slip?
Lauren says
Oh dear. It was 20 wasn’t it? I am getting rather old.
Brad says
I think you should find plaid pants and a plaid shirt and wear them all on the same day and see if it would give anyone seizures to look at you. …or does that happen too often on its own already?
Lauren says
Funny talk from a turn-of-the-last-century man.
Beth says
I love them. And I think you’ll look great in them. That’s my boring comment.
Peggy says
Definately not too flashy! Definately cute! I really like the neutral colors. Good choice!! (did the mask come with the shoes?)
Kristi says
Are the shoes part of the new Green Lantern costume?
Lauren says
Lloyd was supposed to wear that at school for Costume Day, but he forgot. Now that mask is going to live on my counter forever.
