Magically Bulletlicious

June 12, 2012 by Lauren 7 Comments

Beth scored a Magic Bullet at a yard sale (for 10 bucks!) and invited us all over to celebrate it’s amazing abilities by making Dinner in a Bullet. I harbored some deeply, deeply envious feelings toward it, and Lloyd – after his disastrous smoothie experience with our terrible blender – was quietly plotting how to steal it.

Magicin' up some sauce.

The infomercials do not lie. This machine is incredible! Beth made guacamole, stuffed mushrooms, alfredo sauce and chocolate mousse for us all – only dirtying a sheet pan (for the mushrooms), a sauce pan (to boil noodles) and the Bullet. Lloyd was in charge of drinks, and he made margaritas, Pretty Drinks (for the kids and me), Peach Bellinis, and then just started blending whatever looked good.

It can blend ANYTHING.

So, if any of the good people at Magic Bullet read this, I would like to skip paying for the first one, and instead “Wait!” because “There’s More!” and just receive my second Magic Bullet for free.

This is just whipping cream and chocolate syrup!

Haven’t you reached the point in Blogdom where you can contact a company and say, “In exchange for a free magic bullet, I’d be happy to review your product on my website.”? I could really go for all of that food right now.

I envision other infomercial parties in the future. The possibilities are exciting:

    George Foreman Grills!
    A Shake Weight session!
    A Ped Eggs party!

      A Ped Eggs party….HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

And I am sooo envious!! What a great party idea! Did a recipe book come with it too? Or did you look online?

That mousse looks heavenly! Did it taste as good as it looks? Is there a recipe for frozen Mudslides? I think I may have to invest in one of these. Sorry for all the questions, but I’m so excited … like a little kid.

Yes, there is a recipe book, and you could eat for meals and meals and not tire of it.

I only had a little taste of the mousse since it was past my eating time, but it was fantastic. No Mudslide recipe in the book, but this should work. 🙂

Excellent!! Oh my how will I ever resist? Thank goodness I’m at work right now. At Bed, Bath & Beyond the Magic Bullet $49.99 but I have a 20% off coupon. Hmmmmmm……

I use Starbucks’ iced via in my bullet. About half a packet, milk, and ice. Instant frappacino. Yum. We also make a ton of smoothies & adult beverages in ours. Love it! Good find, Beth!
