Lloyd set his alarm for two in the morning sometime last week (Thursday?) so he could order a new iPhone. Well, it arrived and he is over the moon with his lovely new technology.
I gotta hand it to Apple. They really know how to accomplish good packaging. Isn’t that the most beautiful thing ever? (I might need to get out more.)
Here’s the side-by-side with the old model. The new one is longer, and much, much lighter.
As I asked him to hold it up for a photo, he did.
Um….. can you see it? That phone on the left is a photo. The real phone is that blurry streak whooshing toward the tabletop.
He bought insurance for it today.
Did it break?
And am I rubbing it in by saying I walked in to best buy last Friday and brought mine home? I love the fingerprint scanner. 😉
My students all wanted to know if it would really just accept my fingerprint or if they could get it to open too.
Hehe.. I laughed and cringed at the last picture.
I haven’t read any reviews of this phone. How is it so far?
My review is glowing, if that counts for anything… I think you should upgrade yours…
I haven’t played around with it as much as you might expect, but these are my initial impressions (keep in mind I’m upgrading from an iPhone 4):
1. The camera is really, really good. None of these pictures were taken with it.
2. The fingerprint scanner for unlocking works very well.
3. Everything happens very quickly (it feels “snappy”)
Oh no! Well, excellent action shot Lauren!
And too bad it didn’t hit you on the head Lloyd, or maybe you would have discovered a new Universal Law too.
…get it? Because an Apple fell.
Do I get to pick the law?
Of course….it’s your discovery!
As Bethany, 9-years-old, said tonight as she was tossing up a volleyball and trying to hit it, “Gravity is FAST!” I bet that’s what you were thinking, too, Lloyd.
Is Lloyd wearing glasses? Have I ever seen those before?
They are new. I asked Brent Royuk if they made me look smarter. He said they made me look easier to beat-up. he didn’t miss a beat. It was impressive.
