Y’know, there comes a time in your life that you realize that if you are going to have some of those childhood dreams come true, you’d better get off you butt and do something about it. So I have decided – I am putting a wood stove in this house, dang it!
I love fire. I love messing with heat. This is happening.
The only drawback is the money. (Well, and future laziness, but let’s not dwell on that.) We are involve in our church’s capital campaign, but there are two years left for that financial commitment and then – fire in the house!!
Hopefully not using the house as fuel. ;). I have models lined up, but I’ll bore you with those another time.
Will this be a pellet stove, or a conventional wood stove?
At this point I’m leaning toward a wood stove. I want one that does the secondary combustion thing where it burns up the gasses, too, so it’s a very efficient and clean burn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU7_L9gHCLY
Someone ask her how many times in the last two years she used that nice firepit that Brad so lovingly made for her. Go ahead. She won’t mind.
Um, somebody piled a bunch of flammable benches by my fire pit.
You, Lloyd, will be the one curled up in front of it night after night.
Your living room will look really good with a wood stove in it! Then all you’ll need is a frig.
Btw: How did you create your house in those pictures? Is that some fancy app?
Thanks! Yep, it’s called Room Planner and it’s ever so fun!
Um, which tree will you cut down for fuel?
