Snowy Saturday

January 31, 2015 by Lauren 4 Comments

It actually snowed today. We had oddly warm temperatures at the start of this week so the first of this came as rain, then slush, the wet snow. It’s not a lot, but it’s heavy and wet. I don’t mind snow, unless I have to drive in it. I went out for a few errands today and did a fair amount of sliding.

Stay safe, Seward. More’s a’comin’.

(Um, I’ll need to update this later. More came in the night.)

UPDATE: Six inches this morning. Yesterday morning it was raining.

We’re due for some precipitation here today. It sounds like it will be more on the freezing rain side of things. I hope to be done with school stuff and back home by then. This is Superbowl Sunday, isn’t it?

I’m so glad to hear you ask that question. I got teased at school for not knowing that it was this Sunday.

Dad asked how deep was the snow in the pick up? We got rain here.

I think we got 7-8 inches. It has drifted in some spots, so it’s hard to tell. Lloyd has the day off tomorrow. Whew!
