Dang it, Brad. You and your tree-cutting skills are contagious. That tree by the window that fell over during the storm this winter? Well, we snipped it down tonight, using the right tool for the job: my bolt cutters.
I had set up my iPad inside to time-lapse it, but I stupidly did not hit ‘start’. In fact, the only action shot I have is after I Tom Sawyered Lloyd into helping me.
Lauren: “Come outside. I just want your company.” (snip snip snip)
Lloyd: “Let me try that. It looks fun.”
Lauren: *snicker*
Anyway, it’s 90% done, which means it’s 100% done, because the chance of my ever going out to finish this job is 0%. That is solid math.

Some gardeners say you should leave stumps around for bugs and birds to live and eat there.
Lauren's dad says
You didn’t damage your “pruning shears” on this project, did you?
Lauren says
If I did, I’ll spend another $13 at Harbor Freight. 😀 That place is the best!

Your math is similar to Tony’s math when it comes to projects around the house. He does 80% and is satisfied. I huff and puff about the last 20% until I finally give up. That 20% makes it much harder to appreciate the hard work that went into the 80%, but oh well. I believe a wise man once said, “lazy always wins.”
