It’s done!

The shed is down and gone, and it was actually completed within three hours. I honestly thought this would be a three week process, minimum. This weekend to tear some of it off and make a pile, a weekend to recover, then a weekend to take it to the dump.

Nope. We started around nine with pry bars, a drill, mallets and some fierce determination, then Sam and Gracen came by with more implements of destruction. By 10:45, the trailer was loaded up and Sam and Lloyd took it to the dump near the next town (which closes at 11:30 on Saturdays).

The internet said to start with the shingles and trim, then remove the roof and then the walls. (My Dad’s recommendation was to hang an eighth of a stick of dynamite inside and set it off, which would loosen the nails. I like how the man thinks.)
