I should have posted this earlier in the week, but Happy Advent! One of my co-workers is all about holiday cheer, and she made a calendar for the staff of fun things to do: dress-up days and making cookies and whatnot. The kickoff event was to have the children decorate the classroom doors. I begrudgingly participated, though I just had them do the minion work of spiraling strips of paper for me.
Here was what I needed them to fill:

…. and after the regular glue dried, here’s what was hot-glued onto our door:

We’re ‘lighting’ the candles with yellow twirled paper each week. Go, little minions, go!
Very nice!
You are amazing!!!
How do you come up with such ideas? What a fun way to involve them.
