Deborah called two days ago and left a message telling Lauren that they were opening an Ikea in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, so Lauren hopped on a plane and flew out. Charles was in on the caper and picked her up from the airport and dropped her off at their house where she opened with, “I got your message and came right out.” It was a big suprise for Deborah and it sounds like they are having great fun.
In other news, I haven’t overslept without Lauren’s 5 alarms going off every stinkin’ morning.
I hate you just a little, Lauren. And, congrats Lloyd on not sleeping through Lauren’s plethora of alarms (she’s a good wife to watch out for you like that…even if it hardly matters at all if you go to school this week…).
and she flew right over our house but didn’t stop in?
You took your vacation when I wasn’t there, Lauren?!?
Oh, wait… she can’t read this right now, can she? Scold her for me when she comes back, Lloyd.
Apparently she is back because there was a break in to my office during the evening.
That was me. I was trying to find something to eat.
with or without salt?
With, Lauren is in another state.
I’m stuck in an airport.
I think you are just “pulling our leg”. Did you actually go Lauren??
If you did go, I’m sure you won’t be flying back … but instread renting an extra large Uhaul for all the cool stuff you bought. Now don’t you wish you would have really gone!
I heard they gave out-of-towners an additonal hurge discount.
And you would have had to have gone to Salt Lake City on opening day to know what a hurge discount is. All I can tell you is it’s phenonmenal.
