First of all, Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms who read this, especially to our own!
Our Omaha trip is over and done. The best part was that we Pricelined a hotel and got one that had a kitchen it it. Hooray! It was like camping – bringing along food to cook in a tiny environment, but no bugs, tent, campfire…. ok, it’s nothing like camping. It’s much, much better.
I had hoped to post some cool pictures, but wouldn’t you know it – my camera battery died Friday morning. All I’ve got is a little proof that we actually went to the game:
What I saw in the women’s restroom during my game-winning pee:
We walked around the old downtown area afterwards and saw some cool sculptures:
And visited a candy store:
And I don’t remember what else we did because the camera died and I have a horrible memory. I think we did some shopping, and ate some food. I seem to recall ukulele night happened, too.

I really must visit that candy store. I don’t like candy so much, but I love the organization and all those colors…so pretty…

Storm Drian. Ha!
Hey… maybe I should call my new cat Drian. It sounds kind of yuppie.
Peggy says
Exactly how would you pronounce “Drian” …
pspspsps … here … Dree an; Dry an; Dr. Ian????
Lauren says
I’m thinking ‘rhymes with Brian’. Weird – I thought I commented earlier but apparently it never showed up.
