It was a Sunday of experimental food. I’ll save the Thermos cooking for another day, but I’ll tell you about dinner. It was getting late, we were getting hungry, the house was getting HOT, and I thought, “I wonder if you can grill a page of meat?” Turns out you can.
Slap it (frozen) on the hot grill and sprinkle some grill seasoning on.
Close lid. Come back in about four minutes and wonder what on earth is going on with that meat.
Flip. Worry about that corner that is getting pretty burnt. Jam the spatula underneath to protect it.
Cut into pieces and assemble on revived frozen bread. (Mine was covered in melty cheese, so I didn’t get a good photo.)
Next time, I will check it after three minutes. This was a little overdone. Verdict: Success! (Also, I have learned the importance of even page construction.)
Or, next time you could just go to McDonald’s. Wouldn’t that be easier?
Yes, but it costs $14 dollars in gas to get there,
So you had hamburger sandwiches? Interesting.
I’m just going to pretend that that’s a bacon sandwich ….
It looks divine!
We do this on a regular basis, but we make circles and just call them hamburgers. Throw it on the grill frozen, and ready to go. I should also note that having bunches of burgers in the fridge allows us to throw impromptu parties, something we very much enjoy.
HA! You crack me up!!
“Hamburgers”, eh? Catchy name….
Heh! Heh!
