Here’s the next installment in the “What I Was Watching” series. This is the year I went off to boarding school. Doesn’t that sound dramatic? We were usually too busy to watch much TV, so there are more blanks here. Also, we had to be in our rooms studying from 7:00 until 9:00. Um, I’m not sure of those times now. Any SPCH people care to give the correct times? Just to make this more like the others, I’ve still marked what I would have watched with an asterisk. Here is the complete prime time schedule for 1984-1985 so that you can play along at home.

- I never watched Miami Vice, but I did have a dream that I was Don Johnson in an episode. I actually dreamed in both pastels and stereo.

Brad says
Every once in a while I think about how little TV we watched in high school. We didn’t watch much in college, for that matter. How different I am now. Of course, for people who cut the cable like you guys did, I imagine things have changed once again.
Lloyd says
Yeah, now we sit around and watch the internet.
Peggy says
Night Court! I forgot about that show. I remember really liking that show.
(And I have to admit that I used to watch Dallas. But I was an adult…you were not.)
