Ninja inspired by Lou. (His name is not really Lou. He is, however, really into ninjas.)
Then he old me his favorite supper: chicken nuggets and ketchup. I told him mine: turkey and stuffing. What’s your favorite dinner? Favorite ninja?

I see by the memory archive that I bought my snow pants eight years ago. I still love them. They make recess bearable and also shoveling snow.
Snow pants. Get some.
(Except you, Brad.)

We’ve moved some children between classes at school, and need some more furniture to hold their stuff. So…. IKEA trip!! The plan was to leave early Saturday morning, but I had an unexpected meeting on Saturday morning. It all worked out.
Here is a sideways photo of some tubs on display. They ran out of this size and they wouldn’t sell the display models to me, dang it. I spent a fair amount of time there Saturday. Interesting fact: if you show up twenty minutes after they open on Sunday and don’t go to breakfast in the restaurant….
You are the only one in the store.
It was freaky. Freaky and fantastic!
On the way home we hit a snowstorm that freaked me out. I won’t tell that part because I come across as a crazy, cowardly lunatic. Let’s just say that Lloyd is a hero.

Two people, each reading on their devices in the quiet. One makes a sound.
Lloyd: Did you just gasp or yawn?
Lauren: Sigh. You don’t know my exhales.

Part of late afternoons have been spent hanging things up at school – a couple more acoustic panels, a mirror for a teacher, a guitar hanger, etc. I never have my iPad with me to take a photo, so when I come home I don’t want to make a post about it. Then the morning arrives and I am mad at Past Lauren for playing so much Flow.
Dang it.
