What-a-ma-huh?

October 15, 2009 by Lloyd 7 Comments

Did anyone notice that for a few hours yesterday we relented in our usual time wasting activities and decided to try our hands at internet dating?

Both domain names had expired, and, after we woke up and noticed that the website was gone, it took a little while for all of the name servers to get the message. I wish that we would get an email notice ahead of time, but I haven’t been able to figure out the right combination of setting to get my domain name registrar to send me an email before the, “Surprise! Your website is gone!” email.

It's a much cleaner look than the current site.

Before I finally had the domain name renewed, I had twenty-seven “Offers of marriage.“

The funniest thing was that after I hollered at him to get out of bed and come fix it, he staggered downstairs, blinked at the screen and said, “Huh. Find a new wife? That’s better than anything on our site.”

I think I’d choose the “millionaire” option, especially if she cooked bacon.

Find a new wife OR fix it. That’s some bargaining power you have Mrs. Summy. Glad he fixed it!

Geez, that’s quite a menu to choose from!! And guess it comes down to if you want something beautiful or something free.
