The Gebhardts are in town! They rolled into Seward around 6, and we had some snacks and drinks to welcome our Utah friends. For some reason, everyone was gathered on one side of the table like they were on t.v. It was weird enough to take a picture. From left to right: Tim, Beth, Brad, Lloyd, Charles, Deborah and Harold. The little girls (Tara, Macy and Bethany) were upstairs trying to pull Pfennig out from under the bed, so they’re not in this episode.

Happy Birthday, Tim!
A year ago today, Beth gave birth to Tim and the Pester family grew a little. Beth once remarked, “Would you please do one of those that will makes Tim’s first year of life fly by in a minute and a half?” I gave it my best shot, but it’s actually closer to two minutes and a half. Thanks, sneaky Uncle Brad for helping to take photos. Hee hee.
As you all know, my regular tech guy is out of town, so here is a grainy version of the movie. I’ll try to fix it later.

A fine, fine day
Our Saturday was spent with the Royuks and Pesters, and it was a very fine day. Brad and Beth did some surprise yardwork for their mom (I won’t spoil their telling of the story, though), then Harold and Beth did some yard work at their house, and then their Mom & Dad made a delicious dinner for all. Lloyd was around for these activities, but we made sure he kept his heart rate down. The most work we allowed him to do was push Tara on the swing, which he did well. All in all – a fine, fine day!
