Well, I finally got Covid. I don’t often get sick, so this is weird.
Friday night started a pretty bad acid reflux event – I think it was all the worry about Keren and Charlie traveling. I started another round of stomach medicine and slept at an angle, but all weekend my voice was hashed and I had that dumb cough that accompanies it. Sunday, though, my face hurt in a weird way. (Sam, do not say “It’s killing me.”)
Monday morning I went to work but my face still had that weird ache and I thought I might have a fever. Sure enough, a low-grade one. To be a Responsible Citizen, I took a Covid test and was flabbergasted when it was positive.
I was sent home. It is so weird being allowed to be sick. I cranked up the heat in this house because I’m so cold and have slept A LOT. The only miserable thing is that when I have a runny nose, I sleep flat on my back so it can drain (gross, I know). However, the stomach thing is still happening so I need to be at an angle. I’m sleeping, but in short bursts.
That’s all from Lake Wobegone. Off to bed to try and sleep some more.
Oh, that’s no fun.
On the flip side, maybe you can eventually get some good sleep.
Get better soon. We love you.
Praying for you, sis. And love you.
Dang it. You posted a bunch that I didn’t comment on. Hopefully I’ll get back into the swing of things, now that you’re home sick and will I’m sure have lots to post about… heh.
Take a picture of your new car.
